IANAG 'mirrors' a number of usenet groups, including
24hoursupport.helpdesk in its forums.

This has a 'googlegroups' impact in which webforum posters are posting
into an nntp ng -- sometimes into a long since dead thread.

The most recent googlegrouper effect of IANAG was when some kind of
regurgitation or hiccupping of the webforum to nntp integrator caused a
'string' of old posts made into the IANAG forum to be reposted belatedly
into 24hour.

Old newsgroupers welcome googlegroupers and ianageekers with about the
same enthusiasm they welcomed the onslaught of endless September AOLers
when they arrived in 1993 Sep [Today's date is September 4381, 1993]

The other thing that happens is that some ianageekers and other webforum
admins come to the ng/s to 'hustle' participation in forums, and
sometimes they do it spammishly.
