The configuration to give a 200 posting ok vs a 201 no posting to
someone is probably in there somewhere, but some parts of it require
registration to access.  But the gist of one place^1 is that it sez 201
if it isn't going to allow posting so that the client will know ahead of
time that the post command isn't going to work.

What I don't know is why indigo is getting the 201 -- what is the basis
for that result.
