Nope, the headers and body are extracted from the received spam in Outlook
without continuation characters. The = symbol is added by the use of VBA to
resend the spam items in a message from me to Spamcop. So, it is not Outlook
/per se/ that does this, it's the Microsoft MAPI module, which I imagine
would behave in exactly the same way if I accessed it from VB or any other
language.

I might be able to play around with the attributes in a MAPI.Message to see
if I can get rid of the continuation chars. Anyone know what a quoted
printable MIME message ought to look like? Should it not have continuation
characters at all?
