Yeah, that is weird. You're -positive- of that? I've been there
four times now and all four times the same thing happens; the
Avenue A download is attempted, I refuse it, tried it once asap I
could click it, and once I let it sit there waiting for a couple
of minutes, then denied it, and the site just went away; Reloads
resulted in the same thing.
One confusing thing: HOW could the site know I refused it?
I wonder what I send out when I hit Deny? Never thought of that!
What browser are you using on the 'net? I'm on XP Pro,
completely updated. In fact, as of about a half hour ago,
EVERYthig is updated & at least the av & Adaware claimed I was
clean. No time to baby sit the rest of it though.

All my av/malware/adware/cookie run/temp file kills, /etc.,
followed by a cleanup and defrag stuff runs tonight; tomorrow
I'll I'll see what I can get. I just plan on turning on my
port monitor, go online with an auto-connect directly to that
site, and see what happens. Dunno if there'll be anything I can
post; that's going to get a lot of data that way, but I'll
consider it if I can find anything looks useful.
If I don't see Avenue A Inc tomorrow, that scream you hear off
in the distance will be me! I'm convinced it happens the way I
described it, but I was wrong that one time; ahhhh, nooooo, I
won't finish that sentence! <g>. Too much evidence on this
group!
