There is no collateral damage at this stage of the spam 'wars' -
there are responsible users of the internet and there are ignorant
or irresponsible users of the internet.  Responsible users choose
their ISPs carefully, are careful about the use of their email
address, are careful about using anti virus software and firewalls,
and do not whine when email fails to get through, but have
alternate ways of communicating and know who to complain to (the
*sender*).
