Yes, I was being rude.  But on purpose - partly to demonstrate a
point.  When I read her post, that's what it looked like to me - no
context.

And partly because I didn't take the time to find a way to be
polite.  I have no patience with people who persist in being rude
and ignorant after it has been pointed out to them.
