Your diligence in trying to figure that out is much greater than mine
would be.  The problem of SC's parser not resolving links is way too
inconsistent for me to mess with.  The fact that some resolution
problems change from moment to moment makes my interest in figuring it
out go down the drain.

I just accept that some of them aren't going to be resolved, regardless
of whether they resolve quickly for me or not.  Some get resolved
sometimes but not other times, some never get resolved even if the
parser will resolve them nakedly, some of the ones which don't get
resolved will resolve quickly and normally elsewhere, some of the ones
which don't resolve resolve poorly or slowly elsewhere.
