I'm curious, are there ever any kind of bot wars where an infected PC will
have bots from various sources competing (for lack of a better word) for the
PC that has been infected already?

I know if a PC is already infected with something the chances are pretty
good something else might come along and reinfect it, probably even wipe the
old infection out in so doing, depending on the preprogrammed behavioural
characteristics.

I wonder if there is someone mad enough out there to go around hitting
infected PCs with some sort of deinfection program attempt??

I would say it's not what one would like to see but it does appear someone
needs to take the spam war directly to the problem, which is all these
zombified and trojanned PCs floating around the internet. I just wish I
knew what approach would be most effective. It sure seems the law
enforcement isn't very effective ...
