Sounds good so far. I'm a bit lost how a MUA should display
forwarded mail(s) within forwarded mail(s) etc. "inline",
it's tricky to show the nesting structure. OTOH the normal
cases are simple, either a set of mails - what we use here,
submitting sets of fresh spams - or one mail forwarded by a
user, then the result forwarded again by the next user, and
so on. Either parts 1 - 2 - 3 - ... or 1 - 1.1 - 1.1.1 - ...

If you have parts 1 - 1.1 - 2 - 2.1 - 2.2 - 2.2.1 - 3 - 3.1
and look at 2.2.1 "inline", that could be tricky, how would
you know that it's a part of 2.2 and is _not_ part 2.3 of 2 ?

But the critical question, does this "OE forwarding" preserve
the complete header (= message/rfc822) or only the body plus
some mini-plain-text-ersatz-header (like Outlook) ? If it's
the latter it can't really work for many other formats, and
your example multipart/mixed starting with a text/html part
is by far not the worst case.
                             Bye, Frank
