OE haters are found all over Usenet. In most cases, what they're
really grumbling about is the person using OE who doesn't understand
the technicalities, traditions and conventions of netnews. Microsoft
could have done a much better job with assisting the uninitiated in
creating well-formed articles. However, I also see people using other
news readers who manage to make a complete mess of their posts. For
example, some of the Mozilla based software has its own issues and
bugs, like insertion of extra blank lines, and incorrect formatting
of quoted text sometimes.

Now that some major ISPs are no longer providing news servers, one
sees much more of the google-grooper (the new target of opprobrium).
They have no concept of nntp, threading or quoting, as they innocently
post messages with no context to their "flat-file" google-beta "web
forum" from their browser.
