I use a Mac (OS 9.1, PB G3400 Pismo) and I use SpamCop by one of the
following
1. Webmail via Netscape 6.2
2. IMAP in Lotus Notes 5.0.9a (works well actually!)
3. POP in Eudora 4.0 - accepts me as username in Personalities.

Here's instructions on how to do POP with Netscape on a Mac:
http://members.home.com/chrishch8/transition/nscp_mac.htm

Justin put up a page with instructions on setting up Netscape to POP by
accepting the @in the username, its here:
http://www.slootsky.org/SpamCopWebMail/

Hope all this will help!
I love my Mac but dont understand why the Internet setup on the Mac
strips the @character!
Bye
