I have formerly said that that the webmail was only partly functional on 
my home PC (everything is ok when I am at my job PC). You implied (if I 
  understood correctly) it was my pop-up defence that was too heavy-handed.

However as of today, perhaps midnight California time, everything works.
I can send mail, and a little popup tells me I've got new held mail.

I have done no changes, have you? Thanks, anyway, to whomever made it 
happen.
