There are a lot of reasons people should gripe at JT. Some of us have
been around since the early days of the old SpamCop web based message
board before the newsgroups, so we remember how much worse that was than
newsgroups. JT has chosen to completely ignore the concerns of those of
us who prefer a newsgroup format, and he has chosen to ignore those of
us who have supported SpamCop longer than a lot of people. Whenever he
needs to make an announcement, he has suddenly chosen not to make the
same announcement on the NG side so that only those who follow the web
forum are able to come back here and post the news that JT choses to
withold from the NGs. The posting rules have also been changed so that
it is now apparently open season on html and attachment posting, NOT cool!

The problem is that JT has decided to ignore the needs and preferences
of a large group of long time SpamCop users. If he really listened to
what people wanted, he wouldn't have abandonned any conversation
attempts in the newsgroup, and he would have figured out a workable
solution like several people suggested where the newsgroup and web forum
could have been mirrored.
