**Actually, I think it might, you'd need a helper to "administer the
correction" though, because you won't be able to do it yourself.  I put it
on my hand to test it out before I put it on her, and knowing I would get a
zap I would not be tempted to do something twice.   Now if the doggy gets
the clue that running underneath the fence is a 'bad thing', so much the
better.....
