Huh.  Well, the compaq website works ok :)  I've got a 2y/o compaq and 
have to reinstall frequently (MS sucks) and every reinstall I go to the 
site and download (some of) the software that originally came with the 
computer...
But, before the merger it used to be really easy to find the full specs 
sheet (with part numbers for everything) and now I just can't seem to 
find that...  Grr.

Of course, when you have questions like that for compaq you get sent to 
their user support groups - mini news groups where your support is 
often worth that you paid for it...  So, which model will prevail, in 
the end?  The hp model (whatever that is) or the compaq model (support 
yourself)...
