I am much surprised that this falsification still lives on in the US. 
Some time after the story broke, it was showed that the person who 
tearfully told it to eager TV crews, with a lot of artificial tears, 
actually was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US, posing as 
a pediatric nurse. That did not prevent papa Shrub and his consorts to 
use the story   they must have known to be a tissue of lies [it was set 
up by a PR firm] in several of his speeches at the time. TV-stations in 
Europe use the story now as an example of what sort of propaganda lies 
can be expected in a new Iraq war, a war which may be supported by  some 
European governments showing their utter contempt of the will of their 
peoples.
