Ok, that explains it.  I see why I have never seen it.  I'm on the too
cheap to pay more than $10/month for cable television plan.  So, besides
the broadcast networks, I think I have TBS, WE, and the Weather Channel. 
There are probably some sports ones and shopping channels that I
programmed out of my tv too.
 
Of course, it is probably like when I was a kid, we never had the tv
stuff.  I go over to friends' houses now and it is like, wow, 15 channels
of MTV and VH1, let's take a trip back to the 80s and watch lots of bad
videos.

But that Bowflex ad, and all those ads that have an 800 number at the end,
those are filler ads that local cable companies usually put their own
local commercials over.  I don't believe Bowflex actually pays for the air
time, they just give a split of the sales the ads generate.
