I don't know exactly where in SoCal you lived but it'd have to be in a
crappy area for a house with 1/4 acre to be only worth 300k!

I'm increasingly becoming convinced that the Gold Coast is the place in
the whole world that's best to live for all reasons except the location
globally if you need to go anywhere else on a regular basis. If you
don't well it's perfection personified.
