appeal goes to county court. takes about an hour or two, plus the time 
spent on briefs which might be the better part of a day, with most of the 
research  work down by para legals.  The girls would have lawyers crawling 
all over themselves to reap the publicity from taking it pro bono.  The 
lunatic would have had to have retained her own attorney, and no attorney 
would have wanted to touch it.
