it is standard practice in Colorado small claims for the judge to ask the
parties if they are willing to waive the keeping of a record. That
precludes appeal. I was strictly warned by an attorney once never to waive
the keeping of a record. however, these girls may have been naive enough to
not anticipate that the judge was as nutty as the plaintiff.
