Not really. Schools don't really like people transferring in unless one
completes the last 60 or so units there.
It wouldn't make sense to have all my lower-level classes done at the
community college (which I'm doing), transfer to a California State or
UC school for a year or two, then transfer elsewhere. Too many headaches
involved.
I'd rather stay at the community college long enough to make one
well-thought-out transfer to the right school.
