I played hookey today to watch Episode 3 of Star Wars and besides a brief (but thankfully silent) appearance of Jar Jar... I was impressed.

Sam Jackson's character had a great ending -- he went out strong.  I also liked Anakin's transformation.  A little bugged by Amadala just giving up the will to live.  A bit Shakespearean... but would rather have had her suffer complications from Vader's actions than her to just expire for no reason.

Now, Episode IV makes sense.

One thought -- didn't Lucas originally say this was a 9-part saga?  On the news it said Ep3 was the final... but I recall there should be episodes 7-9...
