I *think* they base the figure on people who don't pay it off, otherwise it
would be meaningless. To me it's just a safe and convenient way to pay for
stuff, I don't pay that way so I can pay it off over time. Paying for all
our gas by Amex means I get a year end summary that tells me how much was
spent on gas which is an added bonus. It also saves me having to go into the
cashier's office to pay LOL
