It's between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, just off the 101. Rolling
countryside, vineyards, very little industry. Tourism is the major income
other than farming. Home of the 'famous' Pea Soup Andersens LOL. Obviously
you've never driven the 101 north of Santa Barbara! Go to
http://maps.google.com and type in buellton, ca and then select satellite to
get an idea. It's lovely around there (though in the pics they have on there
now it was obviously the height of summer and the grass had all turned
brown). Route 154 from SB is one FUN road and not *too* challenging, you'd
enjoy it on your bike I should think. Dude, you just have to go fork over
the dough to get your DL so you can go to these places on your bike!
