Yet, you don't see a problem with forcing them to act as if they do
believe?

And, no one is stopping you from believing, and no one is asking you
to act as if you don't.

Why not just recite a prayer to Jesus every morning, and simply tell
any non-Christians "just don't say the prayer"?  Or for that matter,
recite a prayer to Allah (it's just another name, isn't it) every
morning.

The point is, that just because such recital doesn't conflict with
the majority of today's population, doesn't make it constitutional.
State-sponsored religion of the majority is still State-sponsored
religion.

Remember, "popular speech doesn't need protection".
