No, I meant coddle. Meaning no adversity, they don't have to work to do
things they want to do. Got soccer practice? Ride your bike or walk, the
exercise will be good for you. Too many parents wait on their kids hand and
foot and drive themselves insane in the process (and the marriage suffers).
Spoiling is buying them everything they want.
