As for the others, in the future I will try for less common (boiler plate,
characterless, chestnut, clichéd, colorless, conventional, corn, customary,
familiar, familiar tune, garden, garden variety, hackneyed, humdrum, lowly,
mainstream, matter-of-course, mediocre, middling, mundane, natural, normal,
obvious, ordinary, pedestrian, plebian, prevalent, prosaic, stale, starch,
stereotyped, threadbare, trite, typical, uneventful, unexceptional,
uninteresting, unnoteworthy, vanilla, widespread, workaday) adjectives and
verbs.
