The spin is "it's on your hard drive, so you don't have to worry about
losing the CD".
At least they come with a utility to let you make your own disk.
Of course, that doesn't do us much good when someone comes in with a dead
system and wants us to reinstall the O/S. Sure, I have my own XP media,
but it turns out that one OEM's install won't accept a different OEM's
key. (For example, in order to reinstall XP on a Gateway, you need to
have Gateway's OEM XP media, lest the install tell you "invalid key".)
