I believe that some states have laws the prohibit a senator/congressman
from being searched/harassed/arrested/whatever while traveling to or from
Congress[1], but I doubt that there are any that say they are above the
law and immune from prosecution of crimes.

[1] I recall a news story a few months back about a state senator(?) being
arrested for DUI, and getting it thrown out because he was driving home
from "official" business.
